The actor to sell his 22-acre New York country retreat and move to West Coast
Die Hard star Bruce Willis and his wife, Emma, have listed their 22-acre country estate near Bedford Corners in New York for $12.95 million. According to the actor, they want to move to the West Coast to be closer to family in California. The couple will retain their four-bedroom apartment in One West End in Manhattan, which is about an hour’s drive away.
They bought the house in 2014 for $12 million. The property, which is listed with Douglas Elliman, has three cottages for guests, office space or staff accommodation, in addition to the Craftsman-style main house. This has a large living room, with views of the nearby Croton Reservoir, and a playroom, media room and wine cellar. There are five bedrooms in total, as well as the additional seven bedrooms provided by the three cottages. The gardens outside include an enclosed vegetable garden.
